Do you remember Paul Potts from the video clip in June? He wowed the crowd and Simon - yes that Simon - when he sang opera. He even went on to win the competition.

Paul was on the Oprah show yesterday and despite the fact that his album has sold 1 million copies, he kept his job as a cellphone salesman. I guess it just proves that fame doesn’t have to change a person.

The Secret will be featured on the Oprah show tomorrow (Thur. Feb. 8).

By now you may have heard about the movie The Secret that caught the online world by storm. It’s about the Law of Attraction and how our thoughts create our reality.

The only ‘complaint’ I heard from people in the personal development arena was that it was too simplified and thereby misleading. They felt that viewers may come away believing that for the Law of Attraction to work they just need to sit and think about the reality they want to create. I agree that more emphasis could have been placed on the fact that once we put our desires into the universe, we then need to take inspired actions based on our intuition.

I love that The Secret movie is putting the concept of the Law of Attraction, or like attracts like, into the homes of people who may never have heard of this concept. After watching the movie I feel energized and am grateful for the reminder of the lessons shared in the movie.

Rhonda Byrne, the creator of the movie, will be on the Oprah show some time within the next week or so. In the meantime, there’s a link below to a clip of the movie.
